Happy Birthday to me! So my 5 yr old DS made this card for me on my birthday ;) He loves birds so he wanted to draw me one. I must say that getting a handmade card from your child really warms your heart. The inside of the card.

My first craft fair
I have to tell you, I was so excited to get this craft fair at my church in town. I worked really hard making a variety of Christmas cards, tiles, gum wrappers and snowflake ornaments to sell. Well, I didn't sell alot of my items, but I did hand out several business cards, a few Holiday Mini catalogs and a big catalog as well. I did get alot of compliments on my creations, which made me feel great! I take pride in coming up with most of my creative ideas ;)
These little Santa Claus gum wrappers were so much fun to create! I saw a card on someone's blog (can't remember who) and it inspired these sweet treats!
Seasons of Tiles
Christmas cards
This first card I created using the I Wish Simply Scrappin' Kit. These kits are full of self-adhesive die cuts, patterned paper and cardstock. You could actually make about 20 cards out of this kit for just about $1 per card!
This card is a variation of another card I did in an earlier post using Not Quite Navy & Baja Breeze. The paper comes from the I Wish kit, stamp is from Lovely As a Tree set stamped on the beautiful & very versatile Top Note from Sizzix that Stampin' Up is exclusive to offering. Then I tied the whole thing up with the Riding Hood Red ribbon... love it!
I love poinsettas at Christmas time, so I really love the Season of Joy stamp set. I used the Stampin' Markers to color in the word stamp, then stamped onto some Whisper White CS and mounted on Real Read CS. I used the 5 Petal punch for the poinsetta leaves. I think it turned out nice.

Baroque Motifs & Sock Monkey candy
Okay, so I know these two sets don't go together at all, but I made them one right after the other, so that's how I am posting them ;)
The Baroque Motifs stamp set is so swirly, curly pretty. I love this set! I actually love so many of the sets that it is hard sometimes to decide which ones to use ;(
Anyways, the color palette is Old Olive, Elegant Eggplant and Whisper White cardstock. I have a real thing for Old Olive... I used it alot, almost as much as Chocolate Chip.
This little Sock Monkey set is so stinkin' cute! I saw one of these goodie bags at Convention as one of the 3-D swaps. It took me a while to find the little banana candies online and then another 2 weeks to get them delivered. I am making up some of these guys for the craft fair I am working at in two weeks.
Color palette: YoYo Yellow, Ruby Red and Close to Cocoa. I stamped the little guy on Confetti White CS with black Stazon, then inked up my Canvas background stamp with Close to Cocoa and stamped that on top of the monkey. I used a blender pen with the Close to Cocoa stamp pad to color in the monkey's body and Ruby Red with the blender pen to do the 'red' parts. I also stamped the bananas on the YoYo CS with black Stazon. What a cute little monkey guy! I want to make a few different cards with him when I get a chance.
Rubbah hugs,
Charlotte ;)
Thank you cards for Cards for the Cure fundraiser
This gorgeous card to your left is the Thank You card I am sending out to all my generous attendees from the Cards for the Cure event I was involved in. Color palette is Pink Pirouette and Chocolate Chip cardstock. I used the Bella Toile background stamp with Chocolate Chip ink, stamped the Curly Label on Bella Rose DSP and punched it out with the Curly Label punch. This card is so simple and beautiful ;)

A late Saturday night
After participating in the Cards for the Cure Saturday afternoon, I started on some cards I had volunteered to put into a raffle basket at my church to help raise money for the youth group to go to Mexico.
I used the 'God is Love' set from Stampin'Up! on all three of these cards. On the first card I used Close to Cocoa CS, So Saffron and Pink Pirouette. I stamped the cross on Creamy Caramel with black Stazon and popped it. I inked up the Bella Toile background stamp with Chocolate Chip and stamped onto the Close to Cocoa. The Designer Series Paper I used was from the Parisian Summer pack. This card is so beautiful!
My second card used Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip CS and the Haiku DSP. I stamped the image with black Stazon onto Whisper White CS and used the blender pen to color in the sun with Tangerine Tango.
My third card uses Not Quite Navy, Ruby Red, and Close to Cocoa CS. I colored the stamp with More Mustard, Ruby Red, Close to Cocoa and Not Quite Navy Markers. I put the fish on the lower half of the card by coloring them with the Not Quite Navy Marker and excluding the eyes, mouth and side fin.
I hope you enjoy them! I am making a few more and will add them onto this post in a couple of days. Now I am off to making another card for my sorority sisters! Have a great afternoon. Rubbah hugs, Charlotte

Stamp Club ~ September Projects
At my Stamp Club we made 4 beautiful projects for the month of September. I think I love the Season of Friendship card the best! I love the fall colors and the little birdie hangin' out.
The Upsy Daisy set is one of my favorites to use for silhouette cards. I comboed Summer Sun, Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point and Black Stazon for the daisies.
I am excited for Halloween coming up soon. The Halloween Frights set in the Holiday mini is so cute with the owl, cat, bat, pumpkin and moon... I really love Fall!
Last but not least is the bookmark made with the Tangerine Tango ribbon, filligree brad and butterfly stamped with the Flight of the Butterfly stampset that I got FREE at Convention! It is stamped with Baja Breeze and Pacific Point. Love it!
I have some projects in the works... so I hope to post again soon! Thanks for stopping by.
Rubbah hugs,
Charlotte
