Last Monday night I went to my upline's group meeting at IHOP and we exchanged some really wonderful swaps! To the left is mine. It was inspired by a scrapbook page in the new Occasions Mini catalog on pg. 12. I liked the scrapbook page but wanted to turn it into a card and I really like how it turned out.

Here's what I used:
Stamps: With All My Heart stamp set
Paper: Sending Love Specialty DSP, Real Red, Pretty In Pink, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla cardstock
Ink: Pretty In Pink, Real Red, Chocolate Chip

Accessories: Punches- Extra Large Fancy Flower, Trio Flower, Modern Label and 1 1/4" Circle punch.
Here are a few of the other projects done by some of my friends. I wanted to share them with you as well.

I got a nice heavy box from the UPS man the other day. I thought I would share a little bit of what was inside of it.
You will notice 1st that there are lots of new punches and they are a new sleeker style. Shamefully I haven't used any of them yet... I hope to put them to work tomorrow. Also Stampin'Up! is now giving the option of clear mounted rubber stamps. This again helps with storage.
It's late here and I need some sleep so I can get some work done tomorrow.

Pretty Unicorn card

Paige was invited to her 1st all girl party yesterday. I decided to make a really cute girly birthday card for her buddy Rylee. All of the kids made collars for their webkinz. What a cool idea!
Here's what I used on this card:
stamp set: Pony Party
paper: Tea Party DSP, Pretty In Pink, Almost Amethyst, watercolor paper
inks: Black Stazon, Pretty In Pink, Almost Amethyst, Bashful Blue
Big Shot dies: Scallop Circle #2, Scallop Circle
other: snail, dimensionals, blender pen, sponge
Have a great day!

New Year... new attitude

Sorry it has been a while since I have posted to my blog. I have decided to change my attitude a little this year.... okay a lot! My hubby has been gone to Korea since June and came home for a month to spend the holidays and is heading back to Korea later this week. I had been on survival mode for a long time, doing what I HAD to do and getting by. I can't say that this has been all that wonderful.
But things are about to change. I am setting goals and you will be seeing a more creative and updated blog soon! Look out!
